It was a chilly Melbourne morning 25yrs ago that Lyn Newlove set up her first stand at the Pregnancy Baby & Children’s Expo and this year she will be returning as an exhibitor in Brisbane with her daughter Marnie.
Together they recently relaunched Lyn’s Label (organic baby accessories brand) back into the market and are now looking forward to exhibiting together at the Pregnancy Baby & Children’s Expo held in Brisbane from June 17th to 19th.
“Running a business today is so different than it was 30 years ago; so much of our interaction these days is online. We are really looking forward to going back to basics with the Expo and being able to chat face-to-face with our guests. Our designs are quite different and the fabrics we use are so tactile it is only at an event such as the Pregnancy Baby & Children’s Expo that guests really have an opportunity to see, touch and try each of our products before they buy.”
Daughter of Lyn and now Director of Lyn’s Label Marnie said she is honoured to be sharing this event with her mother so many years after the company’s debut. “It has been an amazing journey for us since resurrecting Lyn’s Label and to be able to attend the Pregnancy Baby & Children’s Expo so many years after my mothers’ first exhibition, is going to be incredible. Not only will we be showcasing our range but this time we have an amazing story behind our brand which I am proud to share. The Pregnancy Baby & Children’s Expo is a much loved and highly anticipated annual event and we’re thrilled to be taking part, this time as a Mother and Daughter Team.”
