Each of our products is designed by mothers for mothers. We know how important it is to have a product that is practical, that lasts and one that requires little maintenance. That is why Lyn’s Label products do not require any special handling and can be cleaned with little effort.
Regular care & maintenance will maximize your products performance and help maintain its original appearance. To ensure the longevity of your product please follow the following product care guidelines.
Reversible Nappy Change Bag
Daily Maintenance
After a busy day with Baby, wipe your Bag clean with a damp cloth to remove daily dirt and grime.
Periodic Maintenance/Heavy Soiling
Clean with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly with fresh water after cleaning. A solution of 10% household soap and water is recommended.
Chenille Change Mattress & Chenille Pillow Case
First Wash
We recommend you wash this product separately for the first time and place in a machine dryer to remove excess fluff.
General Maintenance
The 100% cotton Chenille Change Mattress cover and the Chenille Pillow Case is machine washable and can be machine dried.
The 100% Nylon Insert is water resistant, so repels normal levels of moisture. It can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
Periodic Maintenance
To restore the soft texture of the Chenille Change Mattress cover and the Chenille Pillow Case, we recommend the occasional use of fabric softener.
Heavy Soiling
If heavily soiled, the Chenille Change Mattress cover can be bleached (non-chlorine) or patch cleaned. For patch cleaning we recommend making a paste by mixing your chosen bleach powder (non-chlorine) with water and covering the soiled area. Leave the paste to dry, then rinse thoroughly or machine wash.
If the Nylon insert is heavily soiled, we recommend hand washing in warm water and lay flat to dry.
100% Bamboo Jersey Swaddle
Washing
We recommend washing rather than dry cleaning. Use the gentle wash cycle, use a wash bag or hand wash and use a good brand of gentle soap powder or liquid. We recommend that you don’t use bleach as it can ‘yellow’ the fabric but to remove the occasional stubborn stain, use non-Chlorine bleach. If hand washing, rinse well to help prevent staining caused by oxidation of cellulose by the leftover soap build-up.
Drying
Line drying in the sun is best, if possible. Machine drying is ok but don’t overdo it! Over drying can result in damaged fabrics.
Avoiding fabric stretch
Jerseys have elasticity in them. By the very nature of this fabric, the wrap will lose its shape over time. If it is hung, the weight of the item may also stretch and pull it down. Stretching will not affect the usage of the wrap or the quality of the fabric. It is best to fold jersey fabrics neatly.
Bamboo Towel & Face Washers
Washing
Warm machine wash and warm tumble dry.
